Yes - I am a Golf Addict!

Hi there.

My name is Tim Carter.

As maybe you can tell by now I am an avid golfer. I have been for most of my life.

I started golfing when I was seven years old. Though I was no Tiger Woods I was a pretty good golfer. I won the Radium Hotsprings Open when I was 15, but never really entered any other tournaments as I just wanted to have fun with it.

My whole family is into golf - well except for my sister.

My brother is the head pro for the City of Calgary golf courses and runs the National Golf Academy (Googlr it) as well as the Golf Dome in Calgary.

My parents are both really into golf as well. I learned from my dad and he is still a really good golfer.

I had a hiatus from golf because of knee injuries but tried it again last year. I found out I can still hit the golf ball pretty good - so I am getting more into it this year.

My youngest son (15 years old) who has some mental health issues is also really enjoying it. I am going to buy him some new clubs this year.
